Although Yucca IT Consulting has been around for more than 20 years, it is only recently that the company offers its services directly to businesses and various institutions. With more than 40 years of experience, its president can provide a range of services to support compliance and IT risk management.

Mr. Savard has been a manager for 11 years in a large international accounting office. He was able to see and understand the evolution of compliance with small businesses that have to offer products or services to national or international organizations. 
 

Trends mean that even micro-enterprises are prone to implementing compliance programs that meet one or more regulatory frameworks. The experience, the approach, the tools developed and the simplicity of the method developed by Yucca TI Consulting allows small businesses to implement a compliance program at a low cost. 
 

The main advantage for a small company of being accompanied by Yucca IT Consulting is to ensure that the compliance process will be completed on time. Too often, companies that are not accompanied do not know how to implement a compliance program.

Another advantage is that Yucca's approach allows the organization to take ownership of the compliance program. It is not Yucca IT Consulting that will implement the new processes and new controls, but the customer with support from Yucca IT Consulting. 
 

Finally, the ultimate argument. As Yucca IT Consulting supports and guides clients allows clients to maintain control over the cost of the compliance program as a whole and the cost of auditing by certified professionals.

Gilles Savard CPA-CA, CA-TI, CISA, PMP, ITIL (President)

Gilles Savard has more than 40 years of experience and has worked in both public and private organizations. He has had to carry out consulting mandates, management mandates and certification mandates in Canada and France.  

After completing his bachelor's degree in business administration at the Écoles des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), Mr. Savard graduated as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and subsequently completed several other certifications related to the world of information technology. 

Gilles Savard has worked in several different roles, from a management point of view, project manager, auditors, programmers. Early in his career, he worked more on the financial and audit side by being a partner in an auditing firm. Here are some of the roles played by Mr. Savard:

• Partner of an accounting firm (CA)

• A senior manager in Quebec's health care system  

• Project manager in France (2 years) during the conversion of European currencies 

• Senior-level manager in a large international auditing office. He is responsible for different mandates related to information technology (consultation, audit and compliance, risk management)

• Chief Operating Officer of a firm provides information security services

His experience in an important Canadian CPA office has allowed him to develop his knowledge and experience with various IT compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC1, SOC2, CSAE 3416, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOX and so on).

Currently, Mr. Savard assists small organizations with compliance and IT risk management.
